Note: the number of each chapter is a prime number, so I begin in chapter number 2, and then 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, 31, 37, 41, 43, 47 and so on....
I would also like to know about your opinions.... Did you like the book? What would you change? Did it meet your expectations?
Chapter 2
The protagonist (Christopher) finds his neighbour's (Mrs Shears) dog lying in her garden with a garden fork sticked out of it.
Chapter 3
Christopher introduces himself, and describes some symptoms of his illness (Asperger's, a form of autism)
Chapter 5
Mrs Shears goes out of the house and sees Christopher with the fork in his hands and the killed dog, so she thinks he's the killer.
Chapter 7
Christopher explains the reasons for writing this book (Christopher is the writer of the book)
Chapter 11
The police arrives, and as the police asks more and more questions, Christopher rolls back onto the lawn, presses his forehead to the ground and begins to groan. Then the policeman tries to lift him, and when the policeman touches him, Christopher hits him
Chapter 13
Christopher explains why he can't / cannot understand or tell jokes.
Chapter 17
Of course the policeman arrests Christopher for "assaulting a police officer".
As the policeman drives to the police station, Christopher watches the Milky Way, and shows us his astronomy Knowledge.
Chapter 19
Christopher explains why he has decided to number the chapters using prime numbers, and talk about the importance of working out huge prime numbers because they are useful for writing codes.
Chapter 23
They arrived to AT the police station, and they make Christopher empty his pockets and take the laces out of his shoes. Then they lock him up in a cell.
Chapter 29
Christopher explains some symptoms of his illness. One is that he finds people confusing because sometimes people talk without using words, just using gestures. and sometimes people use metaphors that are very difficult for him to understand.
Chapter 31
Christopher's father comes to the police station to bring him back home.
Chapter 37
Christopher can't tell lies because when when he begins to think of one thing that didn't happen he starts thinking about all the things that didn't happen.
Chapter 41
In the way back home, Christopher's father gets furious when he says that he's going to find out who killed Wellington.
Chapter 43
Christopher describes how his mother died by OF a heart illness, two years BEFORE.
Chapter 47
Christopher comes back to school, and decides to write this book when Siobhan (Christopher's psychiatrist) tells him to write "a story about finding Wellington and going to the police station"
Chapter 53
The day his Mother died of a heart attack, Mrs Shears (Wellington's owner) went to his house to do some housework and console Christopher's father.
Chapter 59
Although his father told him "to stay out of other people's business", Christopher begins his investigations going to Mrs Shears house to ASK some questions, but Mrs Shears doesn't feel like talking with / to (better: 'to') him.
Chapters 61-89
After doing some investigations, Christopher works out that Mr Shears (who left Mrs Shears two years ago) is the Prime Suspect of the killing of the dog. He also says that his father and mother used to fall down, specially when they discussed about how to bring him up.
